The start and finish area is located at Fiskehuskajen at Skagen Harbour.
The new start area for the 5 km and 10 km races is at Vestre Strandvej 10, in front of the Harbour Master's Residence.
When you cross the finish line, you will receive:
- A medal for all finishers
- Water
- Soft drink or non-alcoholic beer
- Protein bar sponsored by Bodylab
- Fruit
- Vitamin Well sponsored by Vitamin Well
Plenty of activity in the event area
Skagen Marathon is about much more than the kilometres on the course – both runners and spectators can enjoy the atmosphere in the event area before, during and after the race.
Explore our partners' food stalls and grab something delicious to eat. Among others, Jakobs Café & Bar will be bringing their food truck serving burgers, Diet Heaven will be serving delicious Asian dishes, and Skagen Bageri & Café will have a selection of sandwiches and delicious pastries. You can also stop by the large tent, where Pakhuset will be ready to quench your thirst and help create a great atmosphere. If you prefer something warm to drink, you can buy coffee and more from the coffee cart in the event area.
If you're looking for some new running gear, make sure to visit SPORT24's stand, where you can sample Powerbar products and check out a great selection of running gear from their partners. You can also exchange your unused Skagen Marathon T-shirt for another size, subject to availability.
This year, Skagen Marathon also coincides with Lyserød Lørdag (Pink Saturday), which Skagen Handelsstandsforening will be marking in the event area. Here you can buy raffle tickets, support a good cause and enter the draw to win a range of great prizes.
So make sure to stay around after crossing the finish line – there will be plenty of activity, great atmosphere and good company in the event area!
AWARD CEREMONIES 2026
The award ceremonies will take place next to the announcer's tower in the finish area at Fiskehuskajen.
2:20 PM: Marathon

3:10 PM: Walk & Talk prize draw
3:15 PM: 5 km
3:30 PM: Skagen Handelsstandsforening will draw the prizes for Lyserød Lørdag (Pink Saturday) in the tent
